You can reset quite a few Toshiba bios passwords by shorting two points on the motherboard close to the ram slots, but the points are different on different models. Please take you ram cover off and remove your ram, then take a CLEAR picture of the board that is visible. -

Hello,
I need help unlocking the BIOS of a Toshiba Tecra X40-E-19, Serial Number: 2K199216H.
The BIOS is locked (possibly password protected), and I have already dumped both the original BIOS and EC chips using an RT809H programmer.

I'm requesting assistance in removing the password or unlocking the BIOS while keeping system data intact.
