Hi Dear friends., working on this Dell Latitude 5500. The problem was dead. I replaced the shorted MOSFET & now no short at all. But when I press the power button, does not turn on. I was checking the Latitude 5500 threads & most of them are with the 256MB BIOS, my board contains 2 BIOS chip 64MB(UC5) & 128MB(UC6) . & upon reading the Main Bin files are in the 128MB & the 64MB contains the password. So I have only uploaded the 128MB UC6. Can someone pls. clean this BIN File. Thanks in advance.

Thanks @LBTT1121., I have uploaded both the BIOS Bin Files (64MB & 128MB)... I am getting all the required voltages, even 3v on the On/Off switch, but still does not turn ON. Kindly clean.

@LBTT1121 dear., all worked, now atleast I see the ON/OFF LED lit up, there is still a problem with the board. I will trouble shoot later. Thank you very much
