    old hp 550 help

    Hello i have hp 550 black screen this is my dump
    i flached the bios with other file but prblm want boot in windows 7 acpi prblm bcp the bios limted i cant change to ide or ahci
    now i wanet to clean my dump

          my bord is ddr3 hp 550 my problem no i cant install windows 7

              ACPI fix!

              Yes, you read that right, the bug that HP/Compaq never fixed is finally no more, 16 years later. You probably don't care but here it is anyway.

              Bug

              Basically the bug is as follow: you want to use Linux on this machine, but it doesn't power off when you shut it down, you cannot put it to sleep, nouveau driver for NVidia GPUs doesn't load, etc…
              At boot, you may be greeted by the following message:

              Hi,

              I have the above mentioned bord after repair, which was related to a lot of missing smd devices on the back of the board.
              There were almost 20 devices missing, caps, resistors and some diodes/mosfets.
              The board is generally working now, all PCIe ports are working, Windows installs normally.

              However I have a problem with SATA ports 4-7 (the board has 8 SATA ports) - disks are not beeing recognized by the BIOS neither by Windows (which is usually normal in case BIOS does not recognize them).
              The SATA 4-7 driver network is quite simple chipset<->buffers/drivers<->SATA...
