Good (whatever time of the day you have) to everyone. I have Thinkpad a475 Serial: PF-1E7FT. I cannot find the device by its serial number on official Lenovo website, so here i am asking for your advice. Laptop doesnt turn on, but upon powering on fan starts for 5secs and turns off, while CPU heats up uncontrollably. When i was cheking both chips, i found out that W25Q80BL is almost empty (2 rows are filled, everything else is blank (FF)). Need your guidance good sires. Also, i have already updated W25Q128FV, but it seems to have no effect.

Hello! The same problem with bios, there was a metal dust on chip... So after powerdown it's don't want power on.
here backup bios which downloaded from laptop. serial number is PF-0XA2X2

make sur you attach or connect your clip properly to the bios chip pin

I managed to flash the bios from both #5 and #16 but my laptop still cannot boot, only black screen. Appreciate your help.

But the bios file is 16MB is it ok? Because I tried to use the one download from Lenovo ($0AR0400.FL1) before but when I tried to flash got error exceed chip size something like that.

1) I tried to upgrade my bios using USB but failed (screen just turn black).
2) I tried to flash bios using CH341A but I don't have the binary bios file (the bios body). After deleted the old bios, then failed to flash a new bios (don't have the body bios).
3) Now may laptop bricked.

Please help me to flash again my bios.

Thank you very much for the help. but it didn't work, I programmed it first, pure bios, it did the same thing as soon as I connected it flashes 3 times on. Then I programmed ec chip it8186vg and it did nothing. Return to the original ec and the ignition flashes 3 times again. I include the original ec to see if the problem is there

RULES UPDATE for BIOS requests/offers *AVOID BANNING, READ BEFORE POSTING*

Add motherboard number, device serial number, and attach your bios dump - doesn't matter if it's corrupted (as in your case) or not. By doing this you increase the chances of getting quick and accurate help in solving the problem.

Lenovo A475 Error 0285 TPM initialization failure

Hi everybody,
I hope that I don't make a mistake by creating this thread : if so, I'm sorry...
I had problem with a lenovo A475 model 20KM with AMD PRO A12.
After an update, it doesn't boot and I have a sound error code : 0285 TCG compliant functionality related error (might be the TPM initialization failure) and the Lenovo PC Diagnostics Apps indicates to replace the motherboard ...
The screen stays black, impossible to enter the bios or to do anything else.
Do you think it will be possible to fix it and how : I don't find any solution on the Net yet ?...
For information, I can make a bios dump if necessary.
