    For G7 generation, unlocking on bios or EC is fine, so dump chip 128 and use RC unlocker.

        The 128 one is located near the audio jack and the NVMe port—are you referring to the W25Q128JVPIQ? Thanks for your time.​

            HP studio G7
            la-j241p
            sn : CND1492ZBD

            Laptop is not starting. All voltages are ok.

            I need working ec and bios.

            I have tried every combination ec and bios above but laptop doesn't start.

            I have tried bios and ec HP Create G7 with la-241p board. I get 2 long 2 short beep bios failure.

                BIOS Unlock for HP zbook studio x360 g5

                Hi,

                I've been working on this for about a week. I've read the threads and ordered and attempted to use a programmer to pull the BIOS dump from the laptop with no luck. I tried using RcUnlocker, but keep getting a dll error even after reinstalling the C++ Redistributable. I also tried NeoUnlocker and another program. None would pull up the chip.

                That leaves me asking for help unlocking this BIOS. The laptop boots up to the Domain login with no issue. I can pull up the boot menu. Any attempt to open the BIOS or the BIOS upgrade menu is met with a password request....
