if your programmer is work only with 3v than you have to get a 1.8v adapter

ans2> dmi its a information regarding your laptop like your model/or serial number etc etc

when you make a bios backup it will save automatically in backup bios file

    Hello.

I was wondering if the adapter was necessary since I have the same laptop model (15ALC05 82LN) and I need to reprogram the BIOS.

I am looking forward to your response.

Hello everyone, I have 2 questions to ask you.
    1. Is it necessary to use the 1.8v adapter to read the BIOS?
    2. What is the DMI and how do I change it when saving the new BIOS?

I hope you can help me. Thank you very much in advance.

You'll have to read the original bios even if it's corrupted in order to transfer DMI block to the virgin file. There is no other way "to generate correct BIN" with your serials included. The other option is to use some of the files above, but in that case the DMI data won't match the back cover label, of course.
