I have a HP Elitebook x360 1040 G5 with what I guess is a bad sensor as the detection for the lid position is completely off.
If I close the lid to less than 90 degrees from the keyboard it turns the screen off and if I have it at 120 degrees open and tilt the laptop up the keyboard and touchpad become disabled
I've tried everything to stop it disabling the keyboard /touchpad. I don't care for the sensor is there any way I can stop it disabling my touchpad and keyboard when tilted?
I've tried disabling the Intel Integrated Sensor Solution in device manager and I've tried a couple of registry edits but I am out of ideas and wonder if anyone has anymore suggestions.
