ASUS GL753VD down after connecting a defective USB device

HI All,
Everything is in the title
I connected a defective usb device to my asus GL753VD laptop.
Instantly all power stopped, screen and keyboard black, ...
Maybe a short cicuit in the USB device....
I'm wondering if there is any kind of protection on this laptop for problems like these : fuse or other ?
If anybody could have any infos on how I could repair my laptop, I would be th happiest men in the world
