A lenovo unit arrived at my workshop that did not turn on, they bought a new battery and after a few days it was discharged and it no longer wanted to turn on, I changed the battery charge ic but it does not charge and it only works with a charged battery, I attach some pdf of what already I have done but I still do not solve I appreciate your support, thank you

What is the voltage of:

1) REGN

2) ACDRV

On the charger IC ? Attach the adapter.

Check with and without the battery.

These are good voltage readings to turn on the 2 x DCin mosfets (PQ100 & PQ101).

Remove all power / no battery.

Meter in resistance mode.

Check the resistance across the mosfet pins:

source (1-2-3) & drain (5-6-7-8)
source (1-2-3) & gate (4)
gate (4) & drain (5-6-7-8)


Post each measurement of PQ100 & PQ101.

It is possible that PQ101 will have a low resistance = defective and needs to be replaced. A low resistance on a mosfet = bad.

I already removed the mosfet and it does not give the ACDRV voltage, PQ100 and PQ110 are good PR101,4.9K PR105,4.02K

I am unable to follow the resistance checks.

With no power to the logic board,

One meter probe to source (1-2-3) ; pick any of these pins

Other probe to drain (5-6-7-8) ; any pin

What is the resistance?
