Asus Zenbook Flip UX363EA killed by a cheap usbc power adapter

Hello everyone, can somebody help me with the values of circled resistors from photo? I tried to replace ISL9241 with hot air station, i removed the old chip and when i soldered the new one i heard a pop in that area, and laptop now is not turning on. I tried then replacing 3 new ISL chips but wont start anymore! Not sure but maybe a resistor or something got damaged near the ic! Is hard to repair as i don't have a schematic! Thanks!

Hi, here are the values, check the photo. I measured all of them with resistors soldered to motherboard, so some resistor values might be not the real ones. But it will be a reference point for you anyway.

The IC doesn't look aligned properly by the way. It's position is to far left.

Duh , battery went low and that was causing on this particular laptop to not turn on! So these laptops if they don't have good battery, or battery is too low, or the battery is removed they don't turn on if you plug the charger!!! Leaving this here , maybe somebody else will have trouble in the future with their ux363ea.

Hi guys,

I have ux363ea R3.0 board, which is only showing 5.17v at the charging port and no amps. Obviously, the computer doesn't start, and 19v is missing on the board.

I opened it up and saw that one cap was missing entirely. The rest of the board is pristine. Without knowing what that cap may be i did some digging online and saw that a cap nearby looked like the missing one. not knowing what it is I took a stab an added a similar looking cap.

the cap on the outer left of the photo is what I added and the one on the right is what i belive is the correct cap. So, currently the cap on the right is showing 2.393, and the one on the right is what I believe, and the one I added is 0.001v (there is no short I can find.

Some suggestions would really be appreciated.

If the body of the part is black then the part is a resistor not a capacitor. The original resistor value in ohms may matter. Confirm these details before replacing each.

thanks for that mon2 I checked the one i replaced, and its showing as 9.1ohms the others are 0.1ohms

Hi guys, I'm having a problem with this Ux363EA motherboard. I'm here to tell you:

A few days ago, a client brought me this ZenBook 13 with a completely burned-out USB port, including the charger. Upon inspecting the motherboard, I found a lot of sulfate everywhere and a small explosion on the USB controller and the surrounding area (I've attached photos).
The laptop turns on and works without problems, but it doesn't charge (obviously), nor does the USB port, which is healthy (obviously, the USB controller is burned-out).
I'm attaching photos and I'll ask you how I can proceed with the repair.
Please keep in mind that I'm from Uruguay, and it's difficult for me to obtain the necessary spare parts. Also, if you could tell me where to buy them so they arrive in my country, I'd appreciate it!
