Hi,

I have this laptop that is not powering on.

tested 19v @ dc in. 3v @ power button

board model DDP70 LA-F701P

How can i inspect the issue ?

Hi.

1) do you have any schematics for this logic board ? Cannot locate it in my database.

2) either way - proceed to locate where the DC adapter is mating to the logic board. You should see 2 x mosfets near this aread + charger IC.

Take some close up quality pix of each for a review.

Also post the markings from the topside of each mosfet & charger IC.

Hi, I think you can refer to Compal DDP80 LA-F711P for your motherboard, maybe it is similar.

Tes ted it under the thermal cam today.

the minute i connect it to dc adapter the chipset/pch getting hot

Is it Done ?
