What is the value of the burn component?
It is okay to remove the burn component without replacing?

My educated guess is that the burnt part is a current limited load switch for the local usb connector.

These are very common parts. We need to understand the function before we can replace it.

Q1: apply alcohol on top of the other usb load switches that are not blown. What are the topside markings?

Q2: what color is the plastic insulator for the usb connector? Blue = usb 3.0 = max 900 mA. Black = usb 2.0 = max 500 mA.

We only really need to know if the load switch is Active high or Active low for the enable pin. This is the sot-23-5 package.

Yes, you can remove the damaged part but then that local USB connector will not be powered on the USB Vbus pin.

Summary- this part acts like an electronic fuse. If the USB device attached to the USB connector consumes too much current, the power is removed and the USB controller will be sent an alarm status.

@SMDFlea wins the washer & dryer from LG - which BTW, I am very pleased with as a company. They fixed my fridge to full satisfaction @ a fixed price New (latest design) compressor and actually installed a new ice maker which was locked in a weird turning position.

See attached - found from another Lenovo schematic.

Indeed this is a load switch from Silergy - you can substitute it from many other vendors or just order it from Aliexpress
