I have once again apparently blown the power on an HP x2 1012 G1 motherboard. It does not charge does not turn on from either cable or battery. I'm pretty sure it was caused by plugging in a bad power cable. Is there any surface mounted fuse on the motherboard or any alternative to completely replacing it? Thanks.

I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump
One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy... -

)
I have an Asrock B450 Pro 4 motherboard which doesn't power on. I have access to the Broadview file.
I have checked that the PSU is working. I have the 5V standby on pin 9 and the 5V PSON# on pin 16. When I short the pin 16 and the ground I see the fan running and other voltages as well.
I have removed everything from the motherboard except the CPU fan and have only connected the 24pin power from the PSU. I have not connected the 12V power from the PSU... -
