Hello I have this Lenovo laptop with a problem in powering on. At first the laptop would come on but sometimes it took more than 5 minutes to show the Lenovo logo and then load bios and eventually open.
Now it tries to open but after 5 seconds it shutdowns and then restarts and shutdowns again in a constant loop.
I isolated completely the board by leaving only the CPU and RAM on it. RAM is two modules, I removed them and put another known good working module from another laptop with same results.
If I remove completely the RAM modules the laptop powers and stays on.
Checking around the voltages I found sth if it means anything...
Between PQ501 and PQ502 with any ram connected the voltage spikes to above 100V for a second before the laptop shutdowns. If no RAMs connected the voltage remains below 1,5V.
