Hi, I have an Acer Predator Helios 300 with 9th Gen Intel cpu which had no power due to a blown up sy8288rac chip on the 1.1v? line (presumably) powering the PCH, I am unable to confirm as there are no schematics available as far as I can see. I replaced the chip and rebuilt the traces underneath and now I am getting a steady 1.05v and the machine powers up and the screen turns on but I am unable to get into the bios or boot into any windows install or usb stick.
I get a message on the screen "Stream reset exit again" that is repeatedly printing on the screen about twice a second. This appears to repeat forever, it has been going for 30+ mins now.
I have tried new bios with clean me region and same thing appears to be happening. Also tried with only screen and battery plugged in which makes no difference.
Googling the message appears to bring up no results whatsoever so I am really stuck.
I am wondering if maybe PCH got damaged by the chip blowing up but was looking for guidance to see if anyone else has encountered the same issue.
I have attached a picture of the message.
Thanks in advance
