    Hi guys
    Need help with some ic chip on HP Pavilion 16 Quanta G3JB
    Maybe anyone know where i can find datasheet for this IC?

            @psyjamm, have you reviewed the datasheet posted by @SMDFlea??

            That is your burnt part. He wins the washer & dryer prize for finding this needle in the haystack.

            Ignore the bottom line of the part marking = manufacturer's datecode.

              Thanks @SMDFlea for the alert and webpage link correction.

              In searching out this series, found this interesting press release:

              So as far as I can tell, the suffix -18 is linked to the recovery mode of the device in the case of a short circuit event.

              Noting this press release, there are larger current version of the same footprint available in the market. Better yet, the larger current devices have the -18 suffix.

              So with a very safe bet, you should be fine to consider to replace the ALAK device with the ANAK device which is in stock @ Digikey here:

              This puppy can support upto 10A (ANAK) current vs. 8A current (ALAK).
