    toshiba c660 cpu_core problem

    hi all friends
    i have problem with toshiba c660 la-6842p
at first i found pl5(+5valwp) is short to GND after replace pu6(51125),pu15(ADP3211),PU13(62883C),UA1(alc259) MB POWER on ok and ups apm is 0.4 with no display then shutdown after 20sec
all basic voltage are ok Except cpu core
    pl12 AND pl14 is 0.7 v
i found a resistor is connected to pin15 and capacitor is connected to pin14 and i didn't found them on working m.b
i removed it with no result

all voltages i this table (S0 state ) is ok Except +CPU_CORE IS 0.7V but the correct volt 1.25v-i think that- (i3 cpu)
i tried to change pu13 more than 3 times with the same result
    pu13 important volts
    pin1 pgood 3.3 ok

CPU VCore voltage can go down below 0.8V when power management is active.
Right after turning on the machine it usually starts at around 1V.

The BIOS isn't Posting? (CapsLock Test)
If Not, i'd start with Flashing BIOS. Of course make a Backup of the present BIOS.

Any History of the Laptop? What have you done so far after solving the short? And what did you removed exactly?

Maybe ADP3211(Core PWM) you replaced is defective. Why you replaced so many parts?? Were all shorted??

How much is the cpu-vcore voltage with another Sandy-Bridge CPU?

This is 1st gen not 2nd gen but of course another CPU must be tried before troubleshooting a motherboard problem as always.

                    Hello Guys,

I received Toshiba Qosmio X755 that has a charging problem and I'm stuck trying to figure out the problem.

                    - When battery is unplugged i works without any problem.
                    - When I plug in the battery after plugging in the charger, it works correctly and the battery is charging.
                    - When I plug in the charger after inserting the battery, it stops working. ( voltage dropped and consumed 8A, reaching the maximum capacity of my bench power supply for 5 seconds, and stop working after )

Can you help me diagnose the problem? I have attached...
