I am fairly comfortable fixing laptop's motherboards and other electronics. But never venture into phone/tablet repair. So what is the best way to learn to fix phone and tablets? of course, besides the obvious, get a board and fix it!!!.. I know. I'm looking for method of learning, and resources like: phone diagrams explaining the main components. How different are phones from tablets and laptops. For example, a laptop has the charging circuit, power supply circuit providing 3,5V etc.. the EC chip which starts the motherboard. How different is to troubleshoot a phone compare to a laptop? Finally, why I see lots of videos online complaining about a logic board being locked. Is there ways to get around that? or is it something apple has absolute control over it. I also hear tech complaining about not being able to replace certain components on the board b/c the board becomes a brick... I know this is a long question with lots of questions embedded, but it is kind of a pain to make different post for related subjects.
