Hello friends, I have a problem with an asus x541uvk 2.0 i7 12gb. It entered because it did not turn on and that problem was solved. The thing is that this model comes with 8gb of internal memory and 4gb that go in the socket. When I use the socket memory, the equipment does not show an image but with the internal one. It has already been ruled out that it is not a memory problem. Do you have any ideas to guide me? Thanks

Re: Asus x541uvk memory problem
1) when the system is booting normally, check that you are using the latest bios for this motherboard.
2) remove the coin cell to wipe out the configuration. Then test with the memory stick again.
3) if still failing, apply the battery and load safe defaults with the bios configuration.
4) motherboards are specific on which sticks of memory are approved. Check that your memory stick is on the AVL from Asus.
5) confirm there is no damage to the memory socket pins
