    Acer Aspire 3 not detecting the harddrive

    Hello guys

    Im working on an Acer Aspire 3 A315-31 that is not detecting the harddrive, it says no bootable device found, on bios the harddrive does not appear as well, it does not show any sata devices or any drive, i can't change the settings on the drive list, they are not highlighted, settings for the drive are not changeable, i can hear the drive spin but not showing, i tried different working drives but still no luckies

          Try another known good sata cable.

                  Try pressing F12 at bootup and you may get option to change.
