    Surface Pro 4 i7 - Strange Case

    Hi there,
I have a Surface Pro 4 with a shorted 3.3 power rail. However, upon injecting 3 volts into that rail the short goes away, and the 3.3v comes back. When left unplugged for a while the short reappears.
I have already replaced the IT8528VG chip.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks for your help.

Anyone know how SP4's RTC works? Is there a small reserve capacitor?

RTC power source is probably the main battery like in most devices with non-removable batteries.
