ASUS General Question regarding green 3-4 LEDs, NO post

Hello there,

I am trying to figure out on the internet, different post but without any luck.

I have Asus motherboard that will turn ON but no post, no capslock reaction, no fan. Instead of 1 green light(power) I have 3 or 4 green lights.

Does it mean something ?? Pointing to somewhere ...

I have tried program the BIOS with different files also different RAM sticks ... with same result. Thank You for any kind of response.

Please post the full part # for your asus mb.

What is the pattern you see and where on the motherboard?

From past knowledge, Asus has applied onboard LEDs to inform the user of the boot cycle steps taken after a power up.

Do you see these LEDs sequencing through some pattern and then locked to the final LED pattern?

These are POST (power on self test) codes and usually you can find a chart to let you know what they mean.

I was looking for that chart but I couldn't find any ... The mobo is K55VM rev. 2.0 ... Same thing is showing me without the CPU and RAM.

After I power up the mobo, I can see one green power LED and after quick second I got 3 LEDS light up green. I can post later on what exactly.
