It's rechargeable battery, ML1220 type I think.
That's the northbridge (happens to have an integrated GPU but they almost never die).
The RAM isn't inserted properly.

I get no picture when I also attach a com port cable to my tv,any ideas people. Should I go change the Nec Tokin chip? I have the replacement chips here now.

Been checking for voltages around by the cpu and inbuilt gpu chip. Getting voltage,but chips L516 and L513 are getting hot to touch ?

Hi all , Now for some reason I have fan spin for a split second and it goes in a loop attempting to power the fan on again,but if I remove the cpu from the socket it spins constantly. Do not seem to have any volts on the 2 grey coils next to CPU now that we're previously getting hot. Under the cpu chip I have 1v on that capacitor.
Does this nec Tokin chip look ok in the picture? Doesn't look burnt to me!

Oh well, I will have to do guess work as I'm now stuck on what's causing the new issue. Going to change the NEC tokin chip as a last resort,but it still not going to get power back on the 2 big coils by the CPU.

From the beginning if you just replaced the nec tokin every thing will be fine and the picture will come instantly !!
