    Asus GL553VD_2.0 +3VSUS_ORG

    Hi,
this motherboard has a +3VO which is unstable. So trying to isolate the fault
I have removed the jumper +3VO->+3VSUS_ORG and now the voltage is stable.
This signal goes inside the pch and before replacing it I wondered if the instability could depend on a component. I could try to isolate all the zero ohm resistances but first I would like an opinion from the others

I forgot to say that + 3VSUS_ORG is not shorted as the capacitors on the pch

      Re: Asus GL553VD_2.0 +3VSUS_ORG

I have unsoldered all the zero ohm resistances that provide the 3.3V (+3VSUS_ORG) to PCH lines , one by one, and isolated the line that generates the problem, it is + VCCPGPPA
obviously I have to replace the pch.
Just for information and to understand the importance of this signal, does anyone know what + VCCPGPPA means?
I find in the pch datasheet that is a general purpose line and and if I remember correctly (when I was studying embedded systems) these lines are programmable.
      thanks
