Hello Guys I have a SATELLITE C55-A-138 (PT10F UMA MB REV:2.1) Laptop that have 3 usb ports (one USB2 port with extension boad and 2 usb ports integradted with the motherboard one of them is USB3), all of them are not working ... 5V is present in all of them ... when i connect Usb Data Negative or Data Positive will get a value bettwen 1.5V and 2.5V .... in Windows just the USB3 give me Device Not REcognized and the other 2 USB2 Dont react at all ... Could it be the Bios of the South Bridge ?

If all usb ports are physically ok, its very unlikely to be a bios issue. What is the resistance on D+ and D- lines on usb port??Comment

Hi,
I have the above mentioned bord after repair, which was related to a lot of missing smd devices on the back of the board.
There were almost 20 devices missing, caps, resistors and some diodes/mosfets.
The board is generally working now, all PCIe ports are working, Windows installs normally.
However I have a problem with SATA ports 4-7 (the board has 8 SATA ports) - disks are not beeing recognized by the BIOS neither by Windows (which is usually normal in case BIOS does not recognize them).
