Toshiba satellite l500 defect VGA?

My toshiba has a black screen until the windows starts loading. So I cant see the booting nor enter the BIOS because I cant see what Im doing.
When I connect it to an external display, in this case my TV through a HDMI cable, it shows everything on the TV, including the booting and BIOS.
However, when I tried to connect my laptop to the TV through the VGA I didn't see anything on the TV, not even when the windows boots.

Can this be fixed and is it worth risking?

it is probably the way your laptop was built. when was this issue started to happen?

Maybe a month ago, when I wanted to boot my other windows but couldn't see the boot menu, I have kali linux on it too. Was working perfectly fine before.
I can see the boot menu and select the right system which I want to use while connected to an external display over HDMI as I mentioned.

remove the hdd from the laptop and test it again.

Same. But on the external display I can see it.
I tried it without the external display first ofc.
