I have a dell xps that came in with no power issue, i found that cap on1.05v_vcc was short and resistor was burnt down, i reported it and got that voltage back, now when i press power button, its keyboard backlight comes up, but there is no display at all, then i checked vcc_gfxcore line and it was missing. Did some online research and found that gfx core comes up after board have completed posting, i have flashed bios and ec firmware, but nothing changed,

I have this video card on my bench, it turns on and the screen goes black!
I used MATS but it showed an error in all memory modules, when writing!
I once got a 1060 with the same symptom, all modules were defective, I rebaled the GPU and it stayed the same.
Remember that I have all the debts ok, 1.35 Vram and such!
Could the problem really be in the GPU?
Could it be the BIOS?

Hi,I purchased a broken macbook air which claims to be not working keyboard/trackpad.
I was hoping to be able to fix it by replacing keyboard/trackpad but it got worse.
1. Macbook came with Catalina
2. Keyboard Backlight was working
3. I tried to update to latest OS through software update and it was having error with updating (download was successful and it went reboot).
4. Error was stuck on boot loop of where It tries update but complaining boot disk blabla
5. So I connected to Apple Configurator 2 to see if I can revive.

Try to repair a Thinkpad P72 EP720 NM-B723 MB with I7-8850H processor and N18E-Q1-KB-A1 (P3200) GPU with 6GB memory. Unfortunately there is noinfo what happened to the laptop. I got it disassembled with parts missing, like keyboard, battery.
Unfortunately I have no schematic available for me (requested in the sub porum) but got the boardview file.

Hi I have Dell 7520 which has i7-3632QM as well as AMD 7730M Discrete Switchable GPU.
This is BACO Switchable meaning the AMD GPU can only "render" and cannot work as alone as it depends on iGPU for output.
