There I have this laptop, Thinkpad T580 with beeps. Lenovo smart beep says that this is an error: 0001. "reset error (platform reset not de-asserted)"
What information is there with this?

This is in the hardware maintenance manual .
0001: Reset error (platform reset not de-asserted)
1. Remove all power resources (the ac power adapter,
removable battery, and coin-cell battery). If your
computer has a built-in battery, reset the computer
by inserting a straightened paper clip into the
emergency-reset hole. Wait for one minute. Then
reconnect all power resources. -

Sorry to not mention it but I have done it already. Interesting that it beeps when power connected,no need to press power.(Power key not blocked).Comment
