    dell inspiron 5567 auto turn on

    kindly help me if anyone have fixed problem like this...dell inspiron 5567 laptop auto turn on when battery or charger connected....I have checked the motherboard but can't figure out the problem ...
    .please share your experience about this...

      everything is ok other than restart.....I have checked software +power switch only... please give me possibility of damage on this....I mean step by step guide to handle this kind of problem ....

          I think you mean "Auto start". what is the mainboard ID?

                  if click "shutdown" on windows then it restarts? check the same in bios and other live images if same thing happens, flash new bios with clear me.

                    yes..when plug in or connected to battery it gets start without pressing power button and restart when shut down on windows

                      bios is ok...is this due to short ciruit...if yes what are the possible region for shorting....???

                        Have you checked in bios if there is any option (like turn on pressing a key or when the lid is open)? Maybe there is any liquid damage?

                                Exactly. Today I watched a technician friend, condemning a motherboard (condemning the SuperIO) precisely because of this problem. It would be interesting to always check the capacitors around the SuperIO before condemning the board. I wish he have shared a picture.
