DELL INSPIRON 17R 7720 CHARGING PROBLEM
Hi all this might be a long shot or someone else have came across problem
i had motherboard replaced due to graphics GPU failure laptop works fine on fully charged battery using old motherboard to charge itwhen charger is applied
to laptop it doesn't charge the battery has had new Dc socket with wiring replaced as well any help would be much appreciated thanks in advance.

Are you getting adapter warning message in the beginning like" AC ADAPTER MIGHT NOT BE RECOGNISED, BATTERY MAY NOT CHARGE" ???

Check in bios because AC Adapter was detected ?
