Hi guys!
I got this old 👵 Acer and when i power it on the leds turn on but nothing is on the display, the fan works too for about 10 seconds and then goes off, only sound left is the one of HDD. When i leave it like that for a while (maybe 5-10min) then the fan starts spinning again and doesn't stop.
This is what I tried so far:
1) I removed the RAM, cleaned it a bit and used another slot. I also tried another RAM memory for which I know it works.
2) Removed the CMOS and left it out for a while
3) Disconnected everything, battery, charger and hold the power button for 1min
4) Connected the laptop to an external monitor, nothing appeared there either
5) Heated up the graphic chip for a minute or so but I only had a hair dryer
I also wanted to try another processor but I don't have a spare one.
On the internet I saw that the problem might be the BIOS and saw many flashing the BIOS with the usb driver. I will put a YouTube link of it, not sure could this work for me too and how to do it on this laptop, if it's even possible.
Thanks
