Need help repairing Old Toshiba Satellite A30

Hi

I have an old Toshiba a30 that has a motherboard fault that I am trying to repair and really want to get it working again but really stuck

I have 19v on the jack and thats it

I have no power rails and am missing the 19v rail
I had a short and removed the short and get the 19v rail but only without having PL17 on the board

Please can someone help

Do you have a bench power supply?

If you do inject some amps there and see what gets hot.

Set the bench power supply to 3v 2A.

If PL17 belongs to the 19v rail, you can apply voltage to the shorted side of this coil.
