    asus x450 kb9018 program

    hi
    i have a x450lc rev:2.2
its wont turn on and no 3.3 on power switch
the i/o is kb9018 and its programble but 3 issue
1.i have rt809f and kb9018 is not in the list of the software
    2. i need schematic of keyboard pins so i can wire the programmer and try on kb9012 or 9016 item in the list
    3.i need ec file backup!

i must say that i removed the cmos battery and when plug in on the power supply i can see that board kind of turn on and use about 0.20 amper for few sec but then no current and board is off

so i be greatfull if someone send me ec and bios and schematic for keyboards pin
    thanks!

    This might help you :

    Use Google Translate.

Use your multimeter in continuity mode to check how the keyboard connector is connected to the KB9012, then you can solder to the keyboard connector rather than the KB9012.
You probably won't find schematics for this laptop. You might find a boardview that you could use too to find the pinout.

Now the real issue is finding the dump…

          thanks!
but do you know how to identify pins for wire rt809f to keyboard connector?
and the file name is kb9010!

            Re: asus x450 kb9018 program

I'm pretty sure the pinout is compatible between KB9010/KB9012/KB9018. You could check on the boardview, if you can find it.
Like I said, to find the pinout of the keyboard connector, probe with your multimeter between the KB9018 and the keyboard connector.

              Re: asus x450 kb9018 program

i followed kb9012 pin datasheet on keyboard connector and wire them to programmer no result but what i understand later is when is connect ks03 to gnd the 3.3 voltage around kb9018 gone ! when i disconnect ks03 gnd 3.3 is back!

i did all the wiring and check the connection between i/o and programmer with mulitmeter and its all correct but still rt809f cant detect!

                  2 problems here
1.in the software there is no kb9018 so should choose 9012 or 9010
when i connect the ks03 to gnd the 3.3v(its actually 4v) around i/o that i connected to programmer is gone! so i pull of the adapter and connect the 3.3v directly to power supply
programmer cant detect when i choose 9012 or 9010 but when i choose auto isp the error is " pin 3.7 is poor connected ! "
                  any idea ?

did rt809f even can program this ic or not?
i heard rt809h can but rt809f dont known

Other than the boardviews, is there any schematic for this family of laptops?
