Hi,
Someone asked me if I had an idea about his computer's problem.
The laptop is an HP Pavilion dv6-1225sf. There is no battery pack, it is always plugged in with the power adapter.
When you power it on after the power cord has been unplugged then plugged back, the BIOS POST seems to fail : no display, not even backlight, and capslock/numlock blinks continuously. When you power it off and on again, it often boots correctly, but sometimes not.
When it boots, everything is working correctly.
If you shut it down and power it on again, it may or may not boot correctly.
BIOS CMOS battery is ok, but sometimes BIOS report corrupted CMOS. Removing CMOS battery doesn't change anything.
What could it be?
