Sony Vaio VPCSA25GG showing no signs of life

I'm having some issues with a Sony VPCSA25GG laptop. As of three days ago, it won't power up and doesnt even show a charging light. I have tried a number of things so far.

Tested AC adapter on another Sony laptop and all is working fine.
Tried removing battery and running direct off mains, no luck.
Tried another AC adapter for good measure, no luck.
Tried a hard reset (hold power for 20 seconds without any power), no luck.
I have removed the memory that can be removed and also the hard drive tested and replaced.

After the tests above i stripped down the laptop and tested the DC jack and found all to be OK, there was power getting through to charge the battery, i also checked the on off button and this was also found to be working OK. All conections were reseated, Ribbon cables etc. I have examined the motherboard under a magnifying glass and all components seem to be OK.

Could i just ask if anyone may have any suggestions as to were to go next.

    Thanks in advance.

If you checked the power voltages as you say and they are ok,in that case i would go for a bios reflash.
