Hello.
can anyone help with id of component lifted from mainboard next to ec bios chip (value, size, etc)

trace is broken, can't seem to get a reading from component.
I presume EC Problem when booting is caused by this ?
resistor maybe ?

Share a zoomed out pic of this area. What is the part to the left? Is this a connector? Remove all power. Meter in diode mode. Touch your meter probes together. Your meter will tone beep. Now place one meter probe onto the left PCB pad of this mystery part. Other meter probe to ground. Do you hear a tone beep?

Repeat with the other pad on this mystery part. Probe each pin on the flash memory device that is to the right side in your pics. We are attempting to understand the purpose of this mystery part. Almost appears to be either a pull-down or pull-up resistor. The value should not be super critical if truly a parking resistor - a value of 4k7-10k ohms should be fine.

did you want me to probe the memory to ground or right hand pad ?
do you need readings or if it beeps ?
