Hi,
I have a Dell Latitude 7290 that power cycles instead of turning on. The circuit board is an LA-F311P
I have systematically checked pretty much every internal voltage, and they all seem to be present except for CPU Vcc_Core, which doesn't turn on.
The impedence the Vcc_Core coils is 8.3 Ohms, though, which seems reasonable.
Vcc_SA does get enabled, and reads 1.05V. This is driven by the same power controller IC as Vcc_Core, so I am assuming that that is good.
There is no Vcc_GT, but I have read that that can be normal as it only turns on when GPU load is high. The impedence on the Vcc_GT coil is 6.8 Ohms
Does anyone have any suggestions about what I should look at next in order to troubleshoot the missing core voltage?
