ASUS ROG Strix G713QR - Keyboard, backlight and side LEDs don't work

Hello, I have an "ASUS ROG Strix G713QR" laptop, and for approx. 3 months I have the following problems:

    1. Laptop keyboard doesn't work
    2. The backlight on the laptop keyboard doesn't work
    3. The x2 side LEDs (red) on the laptop don't work

The power button works, the touchpad works, and all the USB, HDMI, Ethernet, etc. ports work.

I already tried to reinstall all the drivers and reinstall Windows. So I don't know what to try anymore that is software-related.

But I am strongly aiming that it is somehow a BIOS-related problem, since not even in the BIOS the keyboard works.

I also searched the internet to see if I could get an older BIOS version, but the only one I found was the BIOS: 330. The problem stayed the same, and I'm not sure, but is there any way I could like factory reset my BIOS to the factory version BIOS?

Additional information, if required, for my laptop are:

    Product model: Q713QR-HX023T
    BIOS: 331
    Windows 11 Version 24H2

Since I didn't find any solution that would apply to my problem in these forums yet, I thought I'd ask here in a new topic, in the hope that somebody already fixed the same problem with the exact same model.

    Thanks to all in advance,
    Nico

Sounds to me like a problem with the discrete "keyboard" controller if exists like on similar models. Symptoms fits. It controls keyboard and RGB functions.

Is there any know to be working fix for that, or how do these problems usually get resolved?

Well, this depends on whether the controller is shorted or not. But even if it's "just" corrupted firmware programming it requires a specialised programmer like Vertyanov or SVOD. So no easy work-around available.

Can you post a picture of the QR code on the motherboard, for example https://www.badcaps.net/filedata/fetch?id=2113373 ,and post the laptop serial number (SN:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) thats on the base cover sticker

What do you exactly mean by "shorted or not"?

But like, what's your opinion? What are the odds that the problem could be solved without the need to unsolder the controller, or is that probably the only option, which leads to, as you say, "no easy work-around"?

And I also had at first the thought to swap the whole keyboard. I suppose I could DIY that, but if, as you say, the issue is probably in some controller, which I highly suppose is located on the motherboard itself, then a keyboard replacement wouldn't really bring anything, am I right?

I suppose you mean this QC code on the motherboard, I couldn't find any other one that would be on the motherboard and instantly in sight, if it ain't that one I can check again, so please let me know.

SMDFlea here the QR code in a better resolution and a photo from what it says when you scan it.
