    ThinkPad T14 Gen 3 - Boots Only on Charger

    Subject: Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 3 - Boots Only on Charger, Fan Spins Full Speed with Battery

    Laptop: Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 3
    Serial No: PF-437QTG
    PCB: NM-E441 Rev 1.0 (JT4C1/JT6C1/JP6C1)
    Extracted BIOS: Will upload tomorrow
    BIOS Password: None Issue Description:
    • Boots only on charger → Works normally when connected to AC.
    • With battery connected:
      • Fan spins at full speed, no display.
      • Not all voltages present (some missing).
    • Battery charges correctly (detected in Windows, shows percentage).
    • When battery is plugged in while in Windows:
      • Laptop shuts down immediately, then fans spin at full speed.
    Question:
    Could this be a BIOS issue, or should I check something else (e.g., power circuit, EC firmware)?
