Asus g531gt inductor value

Hello,

I'm trying to find the value of an inductor I need to replace on a 531gt motherboard rev. 1.5 after doing something exceedingly dumb. I've tracked it down on the board view and in the schematics - it's an SMD component and there's a 100ohm rating for it, but I'm afraid that doesn't translate to Henries!

If anybody can help me figure out what the spec is, I'd be most grateful. I've included screenshots of the schematic, motherboard and board view, for reference.

This is a ferrite bead used to filter noise on the line. When the noise is absent, the part is passive and allows for a flow through. When noise is present (certain frequencies); the part acts like a ~120 ohm resistor.

Measure the size and review the ferrite SMD beads at Digikey / Mouser / Arrow. Technically not required but may reduce some possible noise on the target load.

As a rough guess, purchase:

120 ohm ferrite bead in 0402 SMD size
120 ohm ferrite bead in 0603 SMD size
120 ohm ferrite bead in 0805 SMD size

and one of the above should physically fit the PCB. Guessing unless you have more details on the size of this part.

That is a most helpful answer - thank you so much for the info! I've been searching in vain for a couple of weeks now, finally caved and asked for help. Should have done sooner!
