I dont remember pin1 on the motherboard and no schematic or boardview

1) ALWAYS take a clear pic of the original board before starting rework.

2) See attached for the 1285B datasheet. Review the topside pinout order.

3) See attached reference schematic for this controller.

4) Study each pin to locate the parts from this reference schematic and compare to your board. They will be very similar.

Suggest to hunt for pin #18 and pin #8. After you believe you have found these pins, confirm if the other pins make sense such as pin #12 = Vin from the main power rail.

Do not proceed unless you are 100% sure.
