Acer Predator N17C1 Predator Helios 300

Hi! I have been troubleshooting this PC but at this point I am stopped.

    MB: DH53F LA-F991P
Fail detected: Won't power on and NOT charging
Consumption analysis: At powering ON, consumption increases to 1-2mA, later it remains at 0mA.

    Shorts check: No present
25Q64 memory with 3.3V: OK, when power on pushed
    25Q64 memory read: not reading
ISL88739A: DC arrives OK, but not output at +12.6V_BATT with battery connected

    Checking boot sequence:
Click image for larger version Name:	imagen.png Views:	0 Size:	84.2 KB ID:	3521676

All above PM_SLP_S3# and PM_SLP_S4# OK, but them remain at LOW level, no change detected after pushing Power ON.

I attach boardview and schematic. Schematic pass is: 2018AcerMP

Thanks in advance for any idea. I suspect from Chipset, since S3 and S4 come from it, but I have some doubt.

Poor description of problem. Is the device charging the battery or not?
Measure resistance to GND on all coils
Measure voltage to Ground on all coils
    01.Before pressing button
    02.After pressing button
    RSMRST# present?

Hi mcplsg, sorry for the description. I don't have the laptop here, but I will try to answer.

Measure resistance to GND on all coils
-Measured, i forgot to make a voltage map for troubleshooting, but I remember no short present.
Measure voltage to Ground on all coils
-Processor and RAM didn't have any voltage. I will measure all when I have the laptop again.
      01.Before pressing button
      02.After pressing button
      RSMRST# present?
-Yes, RSMRST# is present after pressing ON, but it drops to 0 after a determined time. Seems that it tries to start but when it cannot it comes back to off.

      Thanks in advance.

        Post the measurements whenever possible.
Without the basic measurements, its completely like aiming an arrow in dark.

Hi mc, I have the tension and resistance values.

          Red: measured in standby
Orange: measured after pressing ON. stays for 15s, then the voltage is the measured in red again
          White: references
          Yellow: resistance to GND

          Thanks in advance.

Pl8301 is very likely to be the VCCSA coil. Not gone thru diagram yet but this "System Agent" voltage should be present.
Resistance values seems fine and your CPU/GPU is very likely alive.
