Teachers, a question, is this type of KBC programmed or not? I asked the Chinese guys at Aliexpress if they could sell it to me already programmed and one said yes and the other said no because it's not necessary? Now they've driven me crazy.

IT8987VG is programmable for sure.
However, in case of your mb,no need to program it. It'll program itself on first turn on.
100% sure as have replaced this EC 2-3 times on same platform.
