lenovo l490 esc light is continuously on and no display what to do ?

Suspecting that your laptop may be in sleep mode. We had the same on Friday with an Acer. Usually the remedy is to (carefully) open the laptop and disconnect the battery -> allow for the board to discharge for 30 seconds or so - plug back the battery.
Before considering this suggestion, review youtube videos for your model on how to disconnect the battery pack from the battery connector. If in doubt, consult a local computer or phone service store for the same advice. Lenovo manuals should also help.
