Aspire V3-551

Hi all

I don't have the schematic to check, but surely this notebook should not be pushing 16.5v to the battery?

It came in after having a liquid spill, the customer left it in his airing cupboard for 6 months to dry then brought it to me.

1st thing I checked was power to battery, just to see if there was any, and found 16.5v from 2 connectors, the usual 3.3 from 3 others and 2 ground.

Anyone think this is normal for an Aspire V3-551?

Thanks kotnatan, but I don't think that was the correct schematic.

Once I got the laptop apart I found the motherboard in a terrible condition, all furred up with corrosion due to the liquid spill. Too bad to continue.
