blue led flashing.
Good morning everyone, I have a Samsung NP750XDA from a very dear friend of mine, unfortunately the display was damaged and he tried to replace it, result: dead notebook!
It seems to start but the blue status led flashes intermittently, the battery charges regularly. When pressing the power button the fan turns on for a moment, the keyboard backlight turns on for a moment, but then it shows no sign of life,
Unfortunately I have not found any diagrams to make measurements, aesthetically the pcb seems perfect, carefully inspected and checked under the microscope but I have not found any damaged components.
I bought an identical notebook to see if I could repair the motherboard, as you can see from the photo it has a large damage to the pcd, perhaps repairable. The problem is that there is a short circuit (see photo) on the pad where the inductance is connected.
Not having screens it is very complicated, I tried to inject 1 volt on the shorted pad and it only heats the CPU slightly.
I also tried to put the bios chip from the motherboard with the pcb damage to my friend's motherboard but it still has the same problem.
I'm going crazy but I can't figure out how to solve the short circuit problem, probably solved this I could use the motherboard with the pcb damage.
Sorry if I went on too long.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance ;-)
