3v 5v present .battery connector voltages also ok. on power switch 3.3v .on bios chip also 3v present ..............need help

but even if the voltages around him are ok the internal voltages are not always ok.
check 32.768khz between pin 2 and 128 of it8502
but most likely it is faulty

like sorinac mentioned cheek the KB controller , it might be there the faults , also when you press the on button will the voltage drop down ??? also chek near KBC is you have damaged traces or test point ripped of (mention you this because just solved today a extensa that was not turning on , after all , having always 0.34 volts on the on off , and also KBC was giving this value after all checked that pin 91 on the KBC of extensa was with a test point removed making the trace interrupted . (so might worth a few minutes of your time to chek traces near KBC and on off connector , also chek if frequency crystal is ok .

Hey... This file is very very useful.. I have dead motherboard laptop Asus k40ij and really im looking for schematic diagram.. thanks for the file... I will try to repair now my laptop...

check visually SB, I had one with popcorned SB few days ago, changed by another used one and it works now

got same machin here , alltough mine , after first flash , turned once . but then no longer , cheked power sequence and all signals all seems nice . even like this replaced SIO , but same thing happen it didnt turn on once , but then no more .
alltough , voltages are present , simple not turning on , weird machine
