Unfortunately, the laptop doesn't have a backlight; the screen is faintly visible. Where should I start investigating the issue?

I replaced the fuse, and now the backlight is working. I spent about an hour soldering, but it works.
I just have one more question: can I cover the soldered areas with hot glue to ensure that nothing causes a short circuit?

FG7 pin 1 has 11V but 0.5V pin 2Comment

Link the schematics & BV files but only in the schematics forum.
Check the SMD cap shown here - it looks off color compared to the others.
