Hey. I have a Fujitsu U757 motherboard with number CP732277. And i want to replace it with U758 motherboard like with CP755900 or whatever U758 series motherboard. U747/U757(7th gen CPU) all motherboards look exactly same so i'm sure it won't matter which one to use. But i would like to upgrade a bit and get U748/U758(8th gen CPU) motherboard. Motherboards all look exactly same layout as U747/U757, but i found one chip is soldered on U747/U757 which U748/U758 doesn't have. It is STM32F103 MCU which is near screen connector. And i'm not sure will U748/U758 motherboard will work with my U757 laptop. I'm not sure what it is doing. Why U748/U758 doesn't have it. I was thinking about touch screen first, but it doesn't fit because then you would find from both generations with each configuration with STM32 and without STM32. I'm little worried. If anyone has replaced these motherboards maybe you can let me know can i swap them. I added pictures of both and marked the chip(STM32F103) with red.
