    Gigabyte Aero 15 GA-RP65W (Need help sourcing SMD components)

    Hi everyone!

    I was playing on my laptop and it shut off, without any power going back into it.
    Upon taking it apart and removing the motherboard I could smell something burnt which is what these pics attached refer to!

    I'm not sure how to identify these components to replace, looking for some tips! I'm new!

      NVL1 is a coil 0.22uH/35A/S/0.98m

          Coil usually donr get burnt. Since its burnt it means excessive current draw happened on this rail.
          Desolder the coil and measure resistance to GND on both sides of the coil before going in for replacement.
